Performing artist John Jarratt shows up in Sydney court on assault charge
Australian performing artist and executive John Jarratt has showed up in a Sydney court accused of assaulting a lady 42 years prior.
The 66-year-old performing artist is best known for his sequential executioner character Mick Taylor in the "Wolf Creek" blood and gore flicks and TV arrangement. Jarratt showed up in his initial two motion pictures, "The Great Macarthy" and "Excursion at Hanging Rock," in 1975.
He told the Downing Center Local Court through his legal advisor Bryan Wrench on Tuesday that he will deny the charge.
The informer, now matured 66, told police in December 2017 that Jarratt assaulted her in the condo they partook in the Sydney suburb of Randwick in September 1976.
It was not quickly clear what sentence he would confront whenever indicted.
